enStratus Executives Golden and Urquhart Named as Wired Cloudline Top 10 Cloud Influencers and Thought Leaders

Minneapolis, MN (May 15, 2012) — enStratus announced today that two of the company’s executives have been included in the 2012 Wired Cloudline Top 10 list of Cloud Influencers and Thought Leaders. The list is comprised of Wired Cloudline’s selection of the top ten people who have shaped and will continue to influence how technology is delivered and consumed since the inception of the cloud.

Bernard Golden, Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for enStratus, is the author of Virtualization for Dummies, the most popular book published to date on the subject, and the co-author of Creating the Infrastructure for Cloud Computing. Golden is also the Virtualization and Cloud Computing Advisor and a popular blogger for CIO Magazine, and a member of the CloudNetworkofWomen.com (CloudNOW) Advisory Board.

James Urquhart, enStratus’ Vice President of Product Strategy, penned the widely read “The Wisdom of Clouds” blog for over three years and is a contributing author to GigaOM’s cloud coverage. Urquhart has also been named one of the ten most influential people in cloud computing by both the MIT Technology Review and The Next Web.
